2022/2023 Smith Creek Community Block Party
I believe that the foundation to good communities starts with good homes and good neighbors. It is far too easy these days to get away with only having driveway-neighbors, those people who you occasionally wave at as each of you walks to and from your cars to your front doors, and, if you park inside your garage, you might not even have that chance encounter.
When you are fortunate enough to live in a beautiful community like Smith Creek, with some incredibly long term residents, you find a way to bring the community together through good food, great local music, friendly games and lots of laughter!
Thanks to my many business partners that support me in hosting the Smith Creek Community Party to give our neighbors a chance to gather, spend time getting to know one another, and building strong foundations for a healthy community.
2021/2022 Smith Creek Christmas Tour of Lights Contest
The winter can be a dismally dreary and dull time of year, but thankfully, the neighbors in Smith Creek like to light up the night and bring holiday cheer to all through the darkest days of the year.
Building community and an opportunity to show appreciation for those who live around us is a core part of being a good neighbor and therefore, each year, myself and a car full of neighbors drive around and award the three (3) "Best Decorated Homes" in the Smith Creek Area.
